As one of the Snowy’s premiere function venues, we offer an extensive range of function packages to suite most budgets and tastes. We operate two separate function areas within the hotel – each catering for different sizes of events With 27 bedrooms in-house, we can provide day-rooms and overnight accommodation as part of your function package. We also have flexible dining and drinks packages and can provide AV equipment if required.

At the Alpine Hotel, we have two dedicated rooms available for functions and events – each with it’s own unique character and charm. Both our function rooms contain a dedicated bar area that can be used for your function and we’re able to bundle food and drinks package to suit most tastes and budgets. The Grand Ballroom
The Grand Ballroom is our largest function area and is located on the ground floor of the hotel towards the rear of the property. It can cater for up to 150 seated guests or 200 standing and contains a dedicated bar area and both male and female toilets.
The main entrance to the ballroom is not accessible by wheelchair but wheelchair access is possible through the rear of the property.
The Balcony Room
The Balcony Room is located at the front of the hotel on the first floor. It is able to cater for up to 50 seated guests of 100 standing. The Balcony function room contains a dedicated bar area and male and female toilets are located just outside the room on the same level. More intimate than the main function room, the Balcony room contains an Art Deco fireplace and offers views over Sharp Street.
As the Alpine Hotel is a heritage building, unfortunately the Balcony Room is not wheelchair accessible and can only be accessed by the main staircase.
AV Equipment and Wifi
Most functions require pieces of Audio-Visual (AV) equipment, whether it’s simply a microphone for speeches or colour digital projectors to display your presentations. At the Alpine, we’re able to provide common AV equipment as part of your functions package. If there’s a specific piece of equipment that you need, we also able to organise this on your behalf through our trusted equipment hire partners.
Whether you need to to check email or live-stream webinars, the Alpine Hotel operates a commercial grade wifi network throughout the hotel – giving you fast access when you need it. While suitable for most applications, we can organise dedicated internet connections as part of your function package, if required.
